Why you feel low after flying high—and why that’s not a bad thing.
There’s a quiet moment that hits after the high wears off.
You’ve been to that retreat, that breathwork journey, that one powerful session that cracked you open—
or maybe you just came back from a Joe event, a meditation week, or something that shook you to your core.
And then… it fades.
Where just days ago there was magic and momentum, now there’s fog.
Where you once felt electric, you feel flat.
Where your heart was wide open, now there’s a subtle ache—or nothing at all.
This is what I call the emotional crash.
And if you’ve ever felt it, let me tell you: it doesn’t mean you did something wrong.
It means the work worked.
The Physics of Transformation
During those elevated experiences, you’re not just “feeling better”—you’re shifting your entire frequency.
You’re opening your heart, releasing emotion, reconnecting with your future, and seeing through new eyes.
But when your energy shifts that radically, something else happens:
Life begins to rearrange itself to match the new you.
And that’s beautiful…
until it feels like everything is breaking.
Because the old world—the one built around your old energy—doesn’t always welcome the new you with open arms.
“You can’t have a new personal reality without first making a new personality.”
—Dr. Joe Dispenza
So What Is the Crash, Really?
It’s not failure.
It’s not you “falling back.”
It’s the space in between.
It’s your system recalibrating.
Your mind integrating.
Your nervous system stabilizing.
Your life testing: Are you ready to walk this way now?
This is when old triggers might come back.
The same people might press your buttons.
The doubts creep in.
The euphoria disappears.
But that doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.
It means the universe is giving you the opportunity to respond in a new way.
You Asked for Growth. Here’s Your Opportunity.
Let me say this: just because you’ve had a breakthrough, doesn’t mean you’re done.
You asked for strength—you get the challenge that makes you strong.
You asked for love—you meet the pattern that helps you choose differently.
You asked for growth—you get tested to prove you’ve grown.
And I know… it feels like a cruel joke sometimes.
You come back feeling expanded, then BAM:
That ex shows up.
That trigger flares.
That fear whispers again.
But this time, you don’t do what you always did.
And that’s when it shifts.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
—Albert Einstein
Now you’re doing the same life… in a different way.
This is what makes it real.
The Work Starts Now
Most people think the transformation happens during the retreat, the event, the session.
And yes—some huge things open there.
But the real work?
It starts the moment you land back in your old life.
That’s when the ego creeps back in.
That’s when the world starts testing if you really meant it.
That’s when your choice matters most.
That’s why I always say:
The retreat changes you.
But the integration creates you.
How I Found My Consistency
To be honest, I’ve had my share of crashes too.
After my first big breakthroughs, I fell hard.
Not because I didn’t want to stay on track—but because life happened.
And without a structure, without accountability, it was easy to let the laundry, the groceries, the client calls, or my son’s nap time take priority over the work.
Just like going to the gym alone—every excuse becomes valid.
“I’ll do it tomorrow.”
“Just one day off.”
But when you commit to someone else—a gym buddy, a coach, a group—you show up.
That’s why Vincent and I created our community.
Not as a business. Not as a brand.
But as a way to stay committed—to ourselves and to each other.
Because when you meditate daily with others, it’s not just about your own healing.
It becomes a field. A rhythm. A shared frequency that keeps you showing up, even when your mind tries to pull you back.
So whether it’s a partner, a group, a journal, or an alarm on your phone—
find your anchor.
Find your structure.
Find what helps you keep choosing the new you.
You’re Not Alone in the Crash
If you’re in that space right now—tired, shaky, doubting—it doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
It means you’re doing it for real.
Be kind with yourself.
Breathe.
Ask for support.
Recommit—gently.
And most of all, don’t forget: this is the afterglow, not the downfall.
If you need a space to land in this phase… to keep showing up for yourself and for others…
you’re welcome to join us.
